BAKU, Jan. 21 () -- Recent hacker attacks that targeted government and public websites in Azerbaijan were traced to Iran and The Netherlands, a senior government official in charge of information technology told reporters Saturday.Twenty five attacks aiming at websites belonging to the Azerbaijani government, the ruling Yeni Azerbaycan Party and the state news agency took place on Jan. 16, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said.He added that investigation results revealed that 24 of the attacks originated from Iran and the other one from The Netherlands,Abbasov said the Iranian government had been informed of the exact location where the attacks were launched.But Iran could have served only as a route of the attacks that were initiated from a third country, in which case Azerbaijan "needs to cooperate not only with Iran but also with other neighboring countries to prevent such cases," Abbasov added.
MADRID, May 10 () -- Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo will be out of action for six months after the club confirmed he has broken the cruciate ligament in his right knee. Asenjo was injured after just nine minutes of his side's 1-1 draw away to Sporting Gijon on Saturday night. He was making a rare first team appearance after losing his place in the side to David de Gea midway through the season. The 20-year-old arrived as a big money signing from Valladolid last summer, but fell victim to Atletico's dreadful start to the season that saw them knocked out of the Champions League and battling to avoid relegation. With the defense shipping goals, coach Quique Sanchez Flores, who took over the club at the end of October, decided to place his faith in De Gea and Asenjo had to be content with a place on the substitute's bench. The club confirms the Spain Under 21 international will now need an operation, which he will have this Tuesday. The estimated recovery time for this kind of injury is around six months. Asenjo's injury has ruined any chance Atletico has of selling the youngster this summer. Although he had lost his place in the first team he is still widely regarded elsewhere and the second half of the season has seen various stories of interest from English clubs who will now wait until he has recovered before making any move to sign him.
